Zander Chung has a problem. Someone has condemned him to ‘discontinuation’ by video call, and the only person who might know why has been dead for centuries.
So naturally, the solution is to die himself.

His destination is the Egyptian Afterlife, where he must find his ancestor Suleiman and discover what any of this has to do with a legendary magical Seal. Unfortunately, the Afterlife comes with gods, judgement, the weighing of hearts, a telepathic scarab and a very small Pomeranian guardian who takes her responsibilities seriously.
Meanwhile, the djinn would quite like Zander to stay dead, and his grandmother Nanna is far too comfortable with all of this.
He only wanted an answer. Apparently that was too much to ask.
